Oktoberfest Munich.

Oktoberfest Muenchen is the biggest festival of its kind, held in Germany every Autumn.
This is a response I had to their annual poster competition design brief.

I hoped to capture the family fun feel of the festival, whilst considering its origin: celebrating the marriage of the crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen.

The double sided aspect was inspired by a traditional Bavarian pack of cards, fitting nicely with the theme of Royals also.
